Abstract: Objective:To study and establish the regression equation applied to estimate the main general skull diameter index with the maxilla index. Methods: Totally 135 adult male mandibles were used for 37 items of measurements with the physical anthropology measuring method,the data were studied by statistical software (SPSS 17.0).Eliminating the r<0.4 and poor correlation pairing. Results:Totally 78 ong-factor line regression equations were set up,which the P vaoues were than 0.001.Conclusion: These equations can be used to estimate the main general skull diameter index with maxilla index, and to provide evidences for the recovery of the skull.
