RuiXiang Zhou, M.D., Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and President of Putian University, as well as a Professor of Fujian Medical University. Dr. Zhou holds influenrial editorial roles as Editor in Chief and Deputy Editor in Chief for National Planning Textbooks under the Ministry of Education and the National Health Commission, including "Human Morphology" and "Histology and Embryology". Dr. Zhou’s research specialization lies in tumor immunology, with a primary interest on examining the impact of melatonin on the occurrence and development of malignant tumors in the digestive tract. He has undertaken a number of national and provincial scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr. Zhou’s contributions have earned him recognizations as the exemplary individual of the First National Textbook Construction, outstanding education workers in Fujian Province, and recipient of Fujian Science and Technology Progress Award. Additionally, he serves as the executive director of the Chinese Society of Anatomical Sciences and the President of the Fujian Society of Anatomical Sciences.
