Yan Gao, MD, PhD, Professor of the basic medical college of Capital Medical University.
She is currently the director of department of anatomy and the deputy director of department of experimental center for basic medical teaching of capital medical university. She serves as the vice president of Beijing Anatomy Society and the executive director of the Chinese Society for Anatomical Sciences (CSAS).
She is mainly engaged in the research on the mechanisms of metabolic disorders and cancer metastasis. She was supported by research projects, including NSFC, BSFC, Support Project of High-level Teachers in Beijing Municipal Universities in the Period of 13th Five-year Plan. Ten more SCI papers are published by her in recent five years in journals. She is the chief editor of Reginal Anatomy (Peking University Medical Press), and has published several national planned textbooks as associate editor or editor.
