Dr. Lü Hai-xia is the senior professor of Neurobiology and the vice dean of the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU). She is the director of China Neurology Society, Chinese Anatomy Society, and Executive Vice President of Shaanxi Anatomy Society. She got Ph.D degree in Human Anatomy & Histo-embryology in XJTU, China and completed postdoctoral training in Neuroscience in University of Nottingham, UK. The research interests are biological behaviour and therapeutic application of neural stem cell (endogenous and exogenous), neurogenesis and neural regeneration, neural plasiticity and rehabilitation. Prof. LYU presided over 5 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, was awarded the third prize of science and technology in Shaanxi Province and the first prize of science and technology in colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province, published 115 scientific papers, 27 teaching papers and 6 text books.
