Junhao Yan is an associate professor in the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Peking University Health Science Center. He holds a PhD in Human Anatomy, Histology, and Embryology at the Department of Medicine, Peking University. Executive member of the Youth Work Committee of the Chinese Anatomy Society, member of the Academic Committee of the Beijing Anatomy Society, academic member of the Science and Technology Innovation Center of Peking University Aerospace Center Hospital, editorial board member of "Progress in Anatomy Science" and "Neuroanatomy", reviewer of magazines such as "Stroke", "Brain Research", "Neuroscience", and "Experimental Neurology". Mainly engaged in the teaching and scientific research of neuroanatomy, the research field involves various aspects such as the pathogenesis and treatment strategies of neurological diseases, and has received support from multiple funds such as the National Natural Science Foundation and Beijing Key Fund. He has won the awards such as the "Young Anatomy Scientist of the Chinese Anatomy Society" and "First Prize of the Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award".
