Biography：
Mr. Xia Chunlin graduated from Suzhou Medical College with a five-year clinical medicine major in 1982，and stayed on as a teacher. In 1991, he obtained a master's degree in pathology, a doctoral degree in neurosurgery in 1995, and was appointed as a professor in 1998. Dr. Xia Chunlin was awarded the third batch of "333 Project" talents in Jiangsu Province in 1998. In 2002, he was appointed as a doctoral supervisor for the Neurosurgery and Basic Medicine of Soochow University and Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Anatomy Society. Dr. Xia Chunlin established the Cytoneurobiology Unit t of Suzhou Medical College in 1998; In 2006, he established the Boxi Institute of Clinical Anatomy at the Medical College of Soochow University. and served as the director. Dr. Xia Chunlin invited Academician Zhong Shizhen and Professor Du Ziwei as the honorary directors of the Boxi Institute of Clinical Anatomy. Dr. Xia Chunlin's main research direction is the occurrence and differentiation of astrocytes and the related diseases, as well as clinical applied anatomy.
