Chunyang Li, Associate professor and Master Supervisor, Vice Director of the Department of Histology and Embryology, School of Basic Medicine, Shandong University, and a key member of Immune and Liver disease research team. He has gained recognition from the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program By CAST, the National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talents, and the Young Scholars Program of Shandong University.
He focuses on studying mechanisms underlying T lymphocyte homeostasis and anti-tumor/virus function and aims to provide new strategies and targets for tumor (or virus) immunotherapy. He has published more than 30 SCI papers, among which he has published high-level research papers as the first author or corresponding author (including co-authors) in international journals, including Sci Transl Med, Adv Sci, EMBO Mol Med, Plos Pathog, Cell Mol Immunol and Cancer Commun. Five national invention patents have been authorized, 2 of which were obtained as the first inventor. He has obtained 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Project and 2 China Postdoctoral Foundation projects and participated in 2 national nature key projects. He won the first prize in the 2021 Shandong University Young Teachers Teaching Competition and the title "Shandong University Young Teaching Expert".
