Dr. Wang Guang, a professor at Jinan University's School of Medicine. He is not only a doctoral supervisor and the Pearl River Science and Technology Star of Guangzhou, but also the director of the Experimental Teaching Center of Basic Medicine in Guangdong Province and the Microscopic Morphology Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center at Jinan University's School of Medicine. Additionally, he heads the Department of Histology and Embryology.
Dr. Wang also holds key positions in national and provincial anatomical societies, including Deputy Director of the Youth Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Histology and Embryology Branch of the Chinese Society of Anatomy. In 2019, he received the esteemed "Young Anatomist Award." His research focuses on gene regulation during embryo development and the prevention of congenital diseases, with over 60 SCI papers published in renowned journals. Dr. Wang has led numerous projects funded by prestigious institutions and holds seven patents. He plays a pivotal role in scientific journals, serving as the executive editor of the Chinese Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry, among other editorial responsibilities.
